well It’s summer and I’ve been home a little over a week. Now that I’m well rested and mostly caught up on my tv shows, I actually want human interaction.

However, like ever summer that I come home my friends thin out. Here’s why I lack friends:

*Friends that never left for college now work or have developed different friend groups

*I don’t have a license

*Friends, despite also going to college, still have retained at least one friend group

I’m so pathetic. I stared at hot fudge and other sundae making toppings and I thought how fun it would be to make sundaes with…….well no one apparently! I need friends here in my hometown. Everyone else has something going on. I’m just here, cleaning, taking care of the dogs, watching tv……….

I’m just sad. I just wish I had someone to talk to/do anything with.

Well now I might go curl up with a beverage, and my only friend around here netflix.

Yay for being sad :/

Not a bad day

Today was Mother’s day, so mom took my grandmother and I to a restaurant.

Not just any restaurant. My mom lives in a gated community and they have their own restaurant there (it even had a dress code!)

The food was incredible. The best part was the seafood bisque and the cheesecake. i loved it.

And spending time with my mom wasn’t terrible. Of course she’s her usual nit picky self, but I tried to just let it be since it’s mother’s day. We went to home depot as well and she didn’t take as long as she usually does when she shops. My grandmother kinda causes a stir but w/e.

Overall, not terrible.
